For my JEA Journalist of the Year application, I created a portfolio detailing my journalistic work across nine sections throughout my time in high school. I was named the International Journalist of the Year and later became a top-six finalist in the national competition, earning a $1,200 college scholarship. Below you can see the positions on The Standard I held throughout high school, as well as the awards The Standard won while I was on staff.
